UNBLEACHED WALNUTS: The natural shell characteristics require unbleached walnuts to be placed in the U.S. #2 class, but as far as the walnut kernels go, the internal grade is the same as for our bleached product, U.S. #1.

SIZE CLASSIFICATION: We offer a full product line of bleached and unbleached in-shell walnuts including Jumbo, Large, Medium, and Baby sizes in many varieties. We also pack in the new European Union metric size classifications, as well as meeting all the new labeling requirements. We have recently added the 34 mm+ size to our product line for Howard walnuts.

 

 

VARIETIES: In addition to the popular Hartley variety, Crain Ranch specializes in the flavorful Howard Variety, a new premium walnut, in an exciting new bag designed especially  for our export customers. Also available in its natural state is the Chandler variety, known world-wide for its light colored kernels and thin shells.
